In October I booked a very last minute trip to Mexico City with a friend. We went with no plan, no reservations, and no idea what to expect. I do

n’t even know how to express in words (without you thinking “she’s so dramatic”) how blown away I wasy this city. I was told that Mexico City has some of the best food in the world but I don’t think I realized it was possible to have such an abundance of food at every corner WHILE remaining consistently delicious. At any given moment (whether it’s 10pm or 3am) you can stop, do a 360 and find at least three extremely desirable stands to pick from. Everyone will tell you to go to the busiest one, and I agree BUT considering a taco is about 20 peso (just over $1 CAD)… it never hurts to try all three. Sure, sometimes the busiest stand was the best but more than often the one that appealed to me the most (smell and watch them cook before you order!) was the one I ended up going with and I was never disappointed.
