Garlic brown butter brioche knots
Cook Eat 024: soft summer bread inside. SOFT BRIOCHE KNOTS > SOFT PRETZELS trust me.
FRIENDS!! Peak summer is upon us, and I am eating local strawberries as I type this out. I have had a crazy busy week as I just launched my NEW SUMMER MENUS (very excited) for my private dinners. This means multiple new dishes filled with local produce. Some examples are a new strawberry milk dessert plated like a deconstructed strawberry crumble, and a new tahini pickle asparagus salad. It’s weird and incredible and I love it.
There are so many dishes that I am excited to share with you, and will continuously be posting about it on my instagram. If you have been following me for a while, you know how much I love dough - specifically bread and pasta. For this week’s recipe I wanted to share my newest summer bread recipe: Garlic Brown Butter Brioche Knots. Imagine a soft, fluffy brioche knot drizzled with salty, garlic butter and tossed with herbs from the garden (or grocery store if you don’t have a garden). It reminds me of a soft pretzel but the flavours are balanced and bright - perfect for summer.
The moral of the story this week is: garlic knots are the new pretzel
